Black and White in High definition.

Today I received part one of the photos that were took at the stunning SXY Quest Hotel building in South Yarra late last month. Although we shot three models on the day here you will see the portrait shots of Jason John. I'll be sure to keep you updated when the others come out but for now...

Fantastic Four!

Today I was lucky enough to be the stylist for a back to back shoot, both held at the magnificent Middle Pier in Brighton, just behind the Brighton Sea Baths. The day started out nicely but with the winds turning mid-morning it was clear that we would need to battle the elements to get some good images.

Starting the day photographer Chaemus Macmillan began by shooting the trio of models, Dan Harris, Evan Spargo (London Management) and James Quinn (Scene Model Management) in a variety of locations along the mixed boardwalk location. Starting at the base on metal scaffolding the trio showed just why male models are so highly regarded, and as the day went on and the conditions hardened the trio seemed to bounce of each others energy and only went from strength to strength.

Lunch time was called due to the harsh conditions in weather and upon our arrival it was time to walk the length of the pier to the very edge to shoot Universal Music's newest talent Adam Hynes' 1st EP cover and book imagery. With the harsh conditions seeming to have calmed a fair bit, the images got easier to shoot, and with Adam's melodic singing and easy swift movements the shoot seemed to go a lot easier than planned.

Make sure to check out some of the images below, and as always I'll keep you updated with the images as they come out!

Store fit for the Kings.

The hippest hipsters, the most fashionable fashionistas and the best body's in Melbourne clawed there way into the new Brunswick flagship store of Melbourne based label Kings of Carnaby. From the entranceway guests where lathered with delicious tasting cupcakes provided by Cupcake Central and enjoyed drinks from Asahi, Rekorderlig & 28 Black all while managing to be at the coolest event in town, and grab a glimpse of the duo of designers latest works which hung in such a shopper-friendly way throughout the store.

As the night went on, and after talking to those in the know it was clear that Nick and Michael or as the better known the Kings behind Kings of Carnaby knew just how to accurately create fashion, and having personally seen the brand evolve over the past few years it is no wonder why. With there modern take on a preppy chic look, elegant in style and in production I am sure that this brand will continue to be one to be watched. If you haven't yet checked the out make sure you do, 388 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy, or check them out online here.

A huge congrats on the amazing event, that I am sure will have the fashion scene talking tomorrow morning.

Instinct - Creative

Last month I was lucky enough to work with exciting (and promising) new models Cal Walters & Sophie Clarke (Scene Models) on a folio shoot. The shoot entitled "Instinct" was shot in the Bacchus Marsh countryside, and was heavily inspired by the idea of love on pure instinct. Below you can see just some of the images we were happy to get.
