Levi snapped up and skated on!

Levi's MSFW City Series show was definitely one of a kind, and it showed just why they are a fashion powerhouse when there jam-pack show hit the runway at the end of last week's fashion week. The filled-to-the-brim tent was anxious to see just what the brand who has given us jeans for generations has to show and as the lights went down the anticipation to see just what they would do rose.

A small harmonica like sound started to play and before long the harmonica and it's player made it's way down the runway, joined swiftly by a few more musicians the stage was now full and ready for the range to be seen. The band played in the background, and as they did model after model came down the runway in the brands newest collection. Sporting pale khaki's, green's, blue's & whites the brands selection was a very close colour pallet  with accents of colour throughout. Teamed with very hipster-esque accessories the models whom took pictures with camera's as they strolled down the runway, or less conventionally skated down the runway to an audience in awe of just what this brand had shown.

Make sure you check out the below pics, or skate on through to the Levi's online store!

French Connected at MSFW

We were lucky to grab a glimpse of what preppy chic male ready-to wear would look like standing next to colourful femininity at last weeks MSFW City Series show for French Connection. The brand, which is known for its preppy style, showed us a new a different range from what they have ever shown us before, and with a jam packed tent watching it was no wonder so many people came to see just what this ever emerging brand would produce.

A classic cut garment, mixed with minimal accessories, and infused with segments of colour was on offer as the brand began to showcase their latest offering. A sea of pastels mixed with spring brights took over and for the first time this fashion week we saw a mix of pastels and brights cohesively mix together in one label. Make sure you check out the pics or make the Connection over to their site.

Reviewing Review

A soft colour palette and a feminine flow was on show for all at last week's MSFW City Series show for Review. The classically tailored cut dress style and soft palette are no stranger to the brand, and with models walking down the runway with oversized balloons and elegant flowery headpieces this show was a must see for all things ultra feminine.

This range had all things spring, the colours, cut and feel of the garments were certainly right on trend and after seeing them on display it made me very excited for the season ahead. Check out the pics or Review them online!

The runway showcased just what David Jones has to offer for this upcoming racing season, and with as Erin put it "the best in local and international brands" it is hard to see why you wouldn't go to the one-stop-shop for your race wear gear.

The beginning of Fashion to the Aid.

Last thursday night saw the beginning of the road for this years iSelect Fashion+Aid at Melbourne's MonBijou atop the Adelphi Hotel. The most fashionable people in Melbourne were on hand to welcome in this years launch and the launch party was certainly no disapointment for fashion lovers.

Musican Shannon Noll joined forces with boxer Lauryn Eagle, Channel 7's "Winners & Losers" star Pia Grace Moon & Viviens model Silvana Lovin to welcome all in what is set to be the best Fashion+Aid yet!

If the clothes from last weeks event are anything to go by I can't wait to see what the Melbourne fashionistas will cook up for the night, and more,  the face of the event, Silvana Lovin will be in fine form strutting down the catwalk in a selection of brands that I am sure we will all be wanting to wear this coming Spring/Summer.

If you haven't yet got your tickets go to Fashion+Aid 5 before you miss out!!
